Lots of recycled paper for practice and clean paper for finished work.
Tracing paper or clear acetate (sheets or rolls as used for OH projectors) is ideal though expensive.
Cardboard. Thin white cardboard that can be used for photocopying is particularly useful.
Marker pens from thin to medium (overhead projector type). Ballpoint pens. Soft lead pencils (2B/3B).
Glue.
Carbon paper.
